WACO, Texas —
The National Championship Trophy will be displayed in Waco this Friday at the Walmart on IH-35 North from 12 p.m to 2 p.m. and the Walmart on Franklin Ave. from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The trophy will be presented by Dr. Pepper, and will be awarded to the 2019 national college football champions. Fans will be able to view and have their photo taken with the brand new 24k gold trophy that will be awarded to the 2020 College Football Playoff national champion.
The National Championship Trophy will be awarded on the field to the winner of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Jan. 13, 2020 in New Orleans.
The trophy is on a season-long tour visiting events nationwide. It will be at the Oklahoma-Baylor game on Saturday.
