Breezy day to turn into chilly morning | Central Texas Forecast

A breezy day today with a chilly Thursday morning; warming trend to come

TEMPLE, Texas — TODAY/TONIGHT: Not the best day to wear your hair down or a dress! Windy morning followed by breezy afternoon with highs only going up into the middle 60s under sunny skies.

BRR- temps will plummet tonight into Thursday morning; many will take up in the upper 30s under clear skies tomorrow morning.

TOMORROW: After starting out feeling like we're in the middle 30s, temps will rebound nicely under sunny skies into the lower 70s. Nice!

EXTENDED: A warm up takes us into the weekend. Temperatures will be back in the 70's Thursday through Saturday. Sunday, though, we could be looking at another very warm day with temperatures topping out in the lower 80's. We'll start off Thanksgiving week in much the same way with temperatures expected to be a bit above the averages, but changes are on the way for midweek. By Wednesday, our next frontal system will approach the area. What we know: this should bring some cooler weather our way for Thanksgiving. It could even be cooler than what we expect for tomorrow.

What is UNCLEAR: The timing of the front and whether or not we'll see any precipitation with this one. We don't have great guidance from our forecast models for the holiday, so we'll continue to shore up that forecast as we get closer. For the time, we'll go with a low chance for Thanksgiving.
