WACO, Texas — After eight weeks of hard work and creativity, Waco's largest mural is finally complete.
About 70 people showed up to help celebrate the completion of the 300-foot mural that captures the city’s history Saturday.
It was created by a diverse group of community members throughout Waco with artists Ira Watkins and Chesley Smith as the project leads.
Diversified products reached out to Creative Waco to ask them to paint the mural on the outside of their building at 11th and Webster.
"We hope everybody, the visitors to Waco and the Wacoans will come and enjoy and have some memories," said Creative Waco President Doreen Ravenscroft.
Multiple murals have shown up in the city in the last few years.
