TEMPLE, Texas — A man was arrested and charged with deadly conduct Friday night in Temple, according to the Temple Police Department.
TPD officials said officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1600 block of S. 37th St. around 11 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with a male suspect on the porch of a residence. On the porch, they found two handguns and multiple spent bullet casings, police said.
James Edward Bamm, 44, was arrested and charged with deadly conduct. He was taken to the Bell County Jail, TPD said.
