SALADO, Texas — Dozens showed up to the 'Sip N Savor' event at Salado's Barton House Saturday.
The event featured nine wineries, craft beers, a champagne house from France and four different artists who painted live.
Brton House owner Clinton Harwell said the event was a chance for everyone to gather to appreciate Salado and its growth, all while enjoying the company.
"People have told me the really enjoy coming because they always meet new great people," Harwell said. "I think that's nice when you can have an event where people meet new people and make new friendships."
Harwell said they are planning to have a similar event in the spring.
