TEMPLE, Texas — This fall, the Robinson Family Farm is filled with activities, drawing in families eager to partake in various seasonal festivities. However, just a few months ago, the farm's future seemed uncertain following an EF-1 tornado that struck Central Texas in May.
Co-owner Helen Robinson shared the challenges they faced after the storm but said the community's support has been outpouring and vital in their reconstruction.
The Robinsons have been working diligently to restore the farm to its original charm.
“People are out here by the droves, that means more than anything,” Robinson told 6 News. “That gives us the ability to keep pushing forward and making the place better for all these guests.”
The community's support has been vital in their recovery. With families returning in large numbers, the farm is thriving once again. Among the attractions available are the popular pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, playgrounds and even helicopter rides, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Robinson Family Farm is open every Saturday and Sunday until Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., inviting families to create lasting memories this fall season. As the farm continues to thrive, the Robinsons remain grateful for the community's unwavering support, which has made their comeback possible.
