Undiagnosed medical conditions leave Central Texas dispatcher in hospital for a month

A Central Texas mother fights for her life in the hospital as doctors try to figure out what is causing her mysterious condition.

CLIFTON, Texas — Editor's Note: The attached video aired on Nov. 11.

After undergoing two procedures, a Central Texas woman is struggling with medical complications that has left her hospitalized.

According to a GoFundMe, dispatcher Cydney Winder, who is married to Clifton Police Officer Trevlyn Winder, has been hospitalized due to medical complications. She has had pneumonia, pancreatitis and the partial collapse of her right lung, and can only receive her nutrients through an IV.

Doctors still do not know what is causing her conditions, despite multiple tests. Blood work shows she has a high white blood count which could possibly point to sepsis.

The Winder family has two children, ages three and six months old. Officer Winder has been working tirelessly for about a month now to cover the medical bills and is seeking support from the community to help him while his wife gets treated.
