KILLEEN, Texas — In Killeen on Saturday Sept. 28, Marriage Management, will be hosting a “Tune-Up” retreat for military and veteran couples. According to officials, you can expect an interactive, fun and helpful event where great resources will be provided to military families who need it.
At the retreat, you will focus on the importance of communication, resolving issues in a healthy way, managing triggers and much more. It will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with breakfast, lunch and snacks included.
The retreat will be at Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, 1103 West Stan Schlueter Loop, Bldg. A.
The retreat is hosted by Bob and Barbara Zielinski. After getting married in 1970, Bob was honorably discharged and the couple began having problems. According to the Zielinski's, going to civilian marriage retreats helped them become a stronger couple. Which is what inspired them to create Marriage Management, it helps married military couples work through marital issues they may have.
The Zielinski's want you to know, that this free Couple Tune-Up retreat is not meant to council individuals but to provide tools and management in a safe and judge-free environment.
