FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — The holiday season is rolling in across Central Texas.
On Thursday, Fort Cavazos took to Facebook to shine a light on the Nature in Lights Holiday drive-thru from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31 hosted by Fort Cavazos Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.
The annual tradition's hours will be 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily, according to its website.
Attractions include Santa's Village at Live Oak Pavilion, Santa's Depot Near the Marina and Pony Rides at BLORA Ranch.
The event is sponsored by a range of organizations including Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers, Jack Hilliard Distributing, Big Red Barn Self Storage, Texas Signs and Designs, United Services Automobile Association, First Heroes National Bank and more.
Santa's Village at Live Oak Pavilion will have vendor booths, arts and crafts, concessions and an opportunity to take photos with Santa Claus.
Santa's Depot offers visitors a chance to see lights exclusive to a locomotive train ride. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 11 and under while children small enough to sit in a parent or guardian's lap are free. More information can be found, here.
