HILLSBORO, Texas — Twenty-two people are without shelter following a fire that broke out in Hillsboro.
Multiple firefighters were called to a fire at a Motel 6 located on 1506 Hillview Dr., just after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 23. The first fire crew that arrived found that the fire was in an outside air conditioner and a second fire was in the outside walls of several first-floor units. No one was injured.
Workers and guests were evacuated and firefighters soon began working to put out the fire. After the fire was put out, the case was turned over to the Fire Marshals Office and is currently under investigation.
