City of Temple set to host free shredding event at waste complex center

City of Temple announces new shredding event held on Nov. 2 open to the public

TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple announced a new event on Monday, calling it Secure Document Shred Event that allows residents to come to Temple's waste complex center and dispose of documents. 

The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees are allowed to bring up to five bankers' boxes of documents that contain information such as personal identification numbers, financial records, and other confidential data to be securely shredded. All shredded paper will be recycled.

TIME: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
