The Killeen Police Department (KPD) has welcomed a new member to their family!
KPD needs your help naming their new K9, that's a two-year-old Dutch Shepherd. It's being trained in search and rescue and explosives detection.
KPD has provided three locations where you can drop off name suggestions. Can't make it to the locations? That's fine! You can vote in the online contest KPD will post from the top three names they receive from the drop-off locations.
Friday, Oct. 25 is the last day to submit your name suggestions.
The name suggestion locations are as follows:
- Killeen Police Department - 3304 Community Blvd
- Town & Country Veterinary Medical Center - 505 E Elms Rd
- Pet Supermarket - 2602 Trimmier Rd
