Burn ban activates in Bell County

The Bell County Fire Marshal's Office said the burn ban became active at sunset on Oct. 1.

BELL COUNTY, Texas — A burn ban is in effect once again in Bell County, the Bell County Fire Marshal's Office has announced.

According to the Fire Marshal's Office, the ban activated at sunset on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

A burn ban had previously been in place in August and was extended through Oct. 7 by the Bell County Commissioner's Court, but was later lifted on Sept. 4.
