Heart of Texas Goodwill holds emergency supply drive for local health clinics

Heart of Texas Goodwill will be hosting a multi-day medical supply drive at Job Connections in Waco, Temple, Killeen and Belton.

WACO, Texas — The Heart of Texas Goodwill has joined the efforts of many Goodwills across the country in refocusing its mission services to help fight against the coronavirus.  The goal is to support local clinics that are encountering a shortage of Personal Protection Equipment and supplies.

Heart of Texas Goodwill will be hosting a multi-day medical supply drive at Job Connections in Waco, Temple, Killeen and Belton from Thursday to Saturday. Goodwill will accept donations at each location from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The donations collected from this drive will support local health clinics including the Waco Family Health Center, the Greater Killeen Health Clinic and the Veteran Affairs Medical Center. 

The most needed supplies are:

  • Surgical masks (including sewn masks)
  • Printing paper (8 ½ x 11),
  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Bottled water
  • Medium & large gloves
  • Toilet paper and paper towels
  • Cleaning Supplies (any)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Alcohol
  • Aloe Vera Gel

Donated supplies on the list should be new and unopened and Goodwill askes that you separate these items from other Goodwill donations.
