WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department identified 39-year-old Winfred Talley Jr. as the victim in Waco's second homicide investigation of 2024.
According to Waco PD, on Saturday, Feb. 24, officers were called to the 600 Block of Ruby Avenue at around 3 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found two teenage girls and Talley, all suffering from gunshot wounds. Both girls were taken to a local hospital and are expected to be okay, According to Waco PD.
Waco PD says Talley's injuries were too severe and he died at the hospital.
According to officers, there was a fight that took place between multiple individuals that led to the victims being shot. Officers have not found any suspects involved in the alleged murder.
