WACO, Texas — A 39-year-old man is dead after being shot in Waco on Saturday, Feb. 24.
According to the Waco Police Department, two girls were injured during this shooting. The victims are 19 and 18 years old.
This is the second homicide investigation of 2024, the first taking place on Feb. 23.
According to Waco PD, they were called to the 600 Block of Ruby Ave., at around 3 a.m. Upon arrival they found two teenage girls and a man that had been shot. Both girls were taken to a local hospital and are expected to be okay, Waco PD said.
The 39-year-old man died at a local hospital, Waco PD said.
According to officers, there was a fight that took place between multiple individuals that led to the victim being shot. Officers have not found any suspects involved in the alleged murder.
The name of the man has not been made public. Waco PD is asking anyone with information to call them at 254-750-7500.
