A Temple homeowner has been arrested for murder after he reportedly shot another man following an argument that occurred in the evening on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
According to an update from the Temple Police Department, David Tate, 52, had an argument with Vernon Johnson, 54, of Temple, and Johnson entered Tate's backyard. Police say at some point during the argument, Johnson was shot multiple times.
Johnson was taken to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
Temple Police say the case is being reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney's Office.
