TEMPLE, Texas — One person is dead after a shooting in Temple, according to the Temple Police Department.
According to police, officers were sent to a home on Luna Lane about a shooting around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
When they arrived, officers reportedly found a person who had been shot multiple times.
The owner of the home told the officers a person had entered their yard, and they had shot them multiple times, according to police.
The person who was shot was reportedly taken to the hospital in critical condition, where they later died. An autopsy has been ordered.
Police said no other injuries were reported, and there is no threat to the public.
