The victim that was found dead in the 13th murder in Killeen this year has been identified.
According to the Killeen Police Department, they were notified of the shooting around 10:57 p.m. on Aug. 8. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man that had been shot dead in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
On Tuesday, Aug. 27, Killeen Police identified the victim as William Donnell Spellman, 39.
Officials are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact crime stoppers. They can be reached by calling 254-526-TIPS (8477) or by going to bellcountycrimestoppers.com. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for tips that lead to one or more arrests of the person or persons responsible.
