TEMPLE, Texas — A driver told Temple police her car was struck by a rock on I-35 while she was driving southbound near Loop 363 Monday, according to the Temple Police Department.
Officials said an officer was dispatched to meet with her and observed damage to the passenger side of the vehicle's windshield.
This report comes a little more than a month after a rock crashed through the windshield of a family's car on I-35, killing the mother who was sitting in the passenger seat.
Multiple incidents of rocks hitting cars have since been reported in the area.
Police said the case is still under investigation.
