With less than 24 hours until Halloween day, here are the top trending costumes searched on Google within Waco-Temple-Killeen

WACO, Texas — Make sure your costume is ready if you plan to go trick-or-treating because Halloween night across Central Texas begins in a little over 24 hours.

Fictional characters and virtual reality leads costume searches in Waco and the surrounding area according to Google platform, "Frightgeist." Here are the top five searches and a little information about each of them.

1. Wilma Flintstone

Maternal figure and wife of Fred Flintstone in the animated series, "The Flintstones," Wilma is typically wears a white top and white beads necklace. The show originally aired from 1960 to 1966. 

2. Gorilla Tag

Gorilla Tag is a virtual reality game released in 2022. One of the first games to be called a virtual reality social casual game, anyone in a Gorilla Tag outfit will most likely be looking like they are in a thinner gorilla costume.

3. Wolverine

Wolverine is a member of the X-Men comic universe and played a prominent role in 10 films within that cinematic universe. The clawed mutant is usually recognized by his yellow one-piece outfit and covered face except for an opening around the mouth. 

4. Mickey Mouse

5. Cheshire Cat

Cheshire Cat appeared in "Alice in Wonderland" written by Lewis Carroll,  and has since appeared in film adaptations. The costume is striped with cat ears on its head.
