TEMPLE, Texas — Central Texas escaped severe weather early Wednesday morning with severe storms staying east of I-35 and north of I-20.

Earlier, the Storm Prediction Center had Central Texas under a Level 2 Slight risk with the possibility of strong winds and hail; even the possibility of tornadoes.

Fortunately, the only thing we saw was a line of thunderstorms that brought rain and lightning.

6 News will livestream any Tornado Warnings if/when they issue so that you can stay up-to-date while you hunker down during the storm.
