Waco Transit System begins routes to China Spring, Crawford/McGregor

The routes will run Monday-Saturday and are designed to help connect Waco to nearby rural communities.

MCLENNAN COUNTY, Texas — Good news for commuters, the Waco Transit System is expanding its routes to include more nearby areas.

Waco Transit System began two new routes on Sept. 3 to China Spring and Crawford and McGregor. According to the Transit System, the routes are intended to connect rural communities and the City of Waco.

The routes are designed to provide residents with "convenient and reliable" transportation, enhancing access to essential services like jobs, education and healthcare, said the Transit System.

Both routes will run Monday-Saturday, with the Crawford/McGregor route running 7:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.-2 p.m. and the China Spring route running 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m.
