KILLEEN, Texas — A 57-year-old woman is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in Killeen, according to the Killeen Police Department.
Killeen PD stated officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Stagecoach Road around 8:17 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29.
According to police, officers located the driver when they arrived on the scene and performed "life-saving measures" until paramedics arrived.
KPD said a preliminary investigation suggests that the driver was traveling westbound on Stagecoach Road when she experienced a "medical issue" and lost control of the vehicle, causing her to crash into a utility pole.
Police said the driver was taken to Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in critical condition.
Killeen PD said investigators with the Traffic Unit are investigating the crash. No further information has been given at this time.
