VALLEY MILLS, Bosque County — Lane closures will be coming to the Valley Mills area starting on Monday, Aug. 5.
The closures are for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and their contractor to conduct mill and inlay operations on Highway 6.
According to the TxDOT Waco district, the work zone will extend from the McLennan County Line to Farm Road 854. Street access to Highway 6 will be restricted, but drivers in the area will be directed to FM 317 and FM 56 as alternate routes.
The closures will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day and are project to run through Friday, Aug. 9.
Traffic control measures will be in place while the work is being done, according to TxDOT.
