WACO, Texas — The TxDOT Waco District has announced that roadway closures will be coming to the Waco area as the Mall-to-Mall project continues. The closures are assuming ideal weather conditions for workers.

Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 24, the westbound State Highway 6 inside main lane will be closed so that crews can begin placing beams at the main lane bridges just past Bagby Avenue to the bridge near Beverly Drive. The closures will take place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through the first week of November.

Additionally, TxDOT says eastbound State Highway 6 traffic on the inside main lane from Imperial Drive to the bridge near Beverly Drive will also close.

Other closures involving State Highway 6 include the outside lane of the SH 6 westbound frontage road from 12th Street Road to the following on-ramp. It will remain closed through the start of November.
