WACO, Texas — A project to fix and widen FM2113 (Spring Valley Road) from Hewitt Drive to Sunny Valley Boulevard is scheduled to happen April 25, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The construction work will cause closures, which will impact traffic in and around the project, says TxDOT.
The project will reconstruct FM 2113, consisting of widening the pavement to include ten-foot-wide shoulders and a 14-foot-wide continuous left turn lane, says TxDOT. Additionally, the existing open drainage ditches will be replaced with curb and gutters.
TxDOT says the reconstruction of FM 2113 will improve safety in the project corridor and will increased capacity on the roadway.
According to TxDOT, Sun Valley Boulevard and Hewitt Drive can be used as alternate routes to bypass construction.
