HILLSBORO, Texas — Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be shutting down parts of Interstate 35 to complete the demolition of the old Interstate 35 East southbound bridge from Jan. 10 to 13 each night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The list of closures on Interstate 35 include the following:
- Interstate 35 northbound lanes from US 77 to Farm to Market 2959
- Interstate 35 West all northbound lanes at split
- Interstate 35 East southbound lanes from Farm to Market 2959 to US 77
Crews will be out to redirect traffic during the execution of this plan.
All lanes of traffic involved in this project will be remain open outside the hours of work.
TxDOT wants to remind drivers to always be attentive when traveling, especially in areas of road work.
