WACO, Texas — Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced that eastbound lanes of SH 6 at US 84 in Waco will be shut down for paving operations beginning Friday, Jan. 26.
According to TxDOT, the lanes will close at 7 p.m. and operations are expected to last until Monday morning, weather permitting.
TxDOT says drivers will be directed to exit eastbound SH 6 on to the frontage road prior to the US 84 intersection in order to avoid crews working on the project.
Crews will be operating daily SH 6 single-lane closures beginning Thursday, Jan. 25 through the next couple of weeks, TxDOT added.
TxDOT asks that all drivers move through work zones with extreme caution, being sure to slow down and pay attention to road signs.
