TxDOT gathering feedback on proposed improvements to US 190 and SH 36 at meeting in Rogers

The meeting will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday.

ROGERS, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking input on proposed improvements to US 190 and Highway 36 from Temple to Rogers.

The improvements are to accommodate a future I-14 extension, and will be held at the Rogers High School cafeteria on Thursday, July 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Attendees are free to come and go as they wish.

Some of the proposed extensions along US 190 and Highway 36 include an extension project from Highway 95 to BU 190, which will also be referred to as "Segment 3."

The corridor is part of a larger project that will extend I-14 from Belton to BU 190 in Rogers.

TxDOT says there will be no formal presentation for the public meeting, but displays will be available for those in attendance to examine. Click here to view the materials or search "I-14 Extension" on the TxDOT website.

Comments and feedback received until July 26 will be considered as feedback for the propositions. There will be a comment form at the meeting for those in attendance to leave their thoughts, but there are other ways to provide feedback, including:

  • Emailing LMUNSH-C@txdot.gov
  • Mailing comments to I-14 Extension - Segment 3 Project team at 1608 W. 6th Street, Austin, TX 78703
  • Online by searching "I-14 Extension" on the TxDOT website
