TEMPLE, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is hosting a virtual public meeting on the proposed improvements to I-35 from Belton to Temple on Thursday, May 2.
According to TxDOT, the improvements are being made to accommodate the future I-14 extension and will create better mobility and safety between urban and rural areas, military installations and more.
TxDOT says the I-14 extension will extend the interstate from Belton to BU 190 in Rogers, Texas.
On May 2 at 5 p.m., you can visit the TxDOT webpage to attend the virtual meeting. Additional information on the project can be found here.
The in-person meeting will be held on May 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cadence Bank Center in Belton. Although a formal presentation is not planned for the meeting, visitors will have the opportunity to view displays and ask questions about the project.
