BELTON, Texas — TxDOT Waco District announced that it will be closing multiple exit and entrance ramps along I-14 and I-35 in Belton beginning Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m.
According to TxDOT, the closures will occur through 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as Tuesday and Friday of next week.
The following areas will be closed for pavement operations:
- I-35 southbound exit 293B ramp
- I-35 northbound exit 293B ramp
- I-35 southbound entrance ramp from Central Avenue
- SL 121 intersection under I-14
TxDOT says southbound traffic will be detoured to SL 121 back onto I-14, northbound traffic on I-35 can use SL 121 exit before exit 292 in order to reach I-14.
TxDOT wants to remind drivers to always be attentive when traveling, especially in areas of road work.
