WACO, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on State Loop 2 (18th Street) in Waco on Monday, Aug. 26, the department announced.
TxDOT said the project will take place over Waco Creek and the railroad. Rehabilitation will "primarily" be done on structures outside of vehicular traffic, said TxDOT, but there will be various lane closures throughout the project, which TxDOT says is scheduled to conclude in early 2025.
Specific lane closures have not been announced at this time.
