WACO, Texas — Two construction workers were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning with injuries after a "partial collapse" of a building under construction, according to the Waco Fire Department.
The incident happened on S. University Parks and Dutton Avenue, according to Waco Police Department.
Waco firefighters responded to the call just before 9:30 a.m. According to reports, the workers were in a scaffold basket when they fell.
Waco PD assisted along with Baylor PD also responded as the incident happened on Baylor property, according to officials.
The workers were taken to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest
