TROY, Texas — Construction crews have begun to work on a stretch of road in Troy in a project that will take a couple of months to complete.
According to the city, a portion of West Main Street will be closed to all traffic, but detours will be available. The detours available to drivers include Old Highway 81, Big Elm Road, and the IH-35 frontage roads.
The closure is between Church Avenue near the I-35 Service Road and Trojan Road, across from the Dollar General Store. However, Trojan Road will remain open to traffic while the work is being conducted.
The city says the closure is expected to last until Aug. 13.
