COLLEGE STATION, Texas — A person was taken to the hospital after being involved in a crash with a train Thursday morning in College Station.
Police closed Wellborn Road and Holleman Drive West Thursday morning in the city while officers investigated the incident.
Authorities say the Union Pacific Railroad Company has also been notified.
CSPD says the victim that was struck was walking nearby but not on the train tracks. He was taken to a local hospital and have only suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to a Thursday afternoon update. His family has also been notified.
