BELTON, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Waco says it will be performing guardrail maintenance on FM 2271 near Belton Lake on Monday, April 1.
According to TxDOT, this maintenance will require the southbound lane of FM 2271 to be shut down near the northern side of the lake.
The closure will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily until the work is complete.
TxDOT says drivers should watch out for traffic control crews while in the area and proceed with extra caution, making sure to eliminate distractions and drive slow.
