TEMPLE, Texas — Ongoing reconstruction of Old Waco Road spanning from Tarver Drive and Jupiter Drive to Riverside Trail begins Monday, Sep. 23.
Two-way traffic will be directed onto a temporary roadway placed just south of the existing Riverside Trail while construction occurs in the current lanes of Old Waco Road, the city says. The diversion will be in place through Nov. 8, three weeks longer than originally scheduled, and two-way traffic will be maintained on Old Waco Road throughout this duration, according to the city.
The City of Temple urges drivers to use caution in the area and to pay attention to all traffic control devices.
