Roadway reopen, two injured after traffic accident in Temple

TEMPLE, Texas — Two people are injured after a traffic accident along S Martin Luther King Junior Drive in Temple, according to the Temple Police Department.

According to Temple PD, officers responded to the 1600 block of S Martin Luther King Junior Drive around 6:02 p.m. on Dec. 2. Police said a vehicle had struck two pedestrians walking in the roadway.

Both of the pedestrians were taken to the hospital, said police, one with life-threatening injuries and one in stable condition.

Police say the roadway is now open for normal traffic flow.
