TEMPLE, Texas — A temporary traffic detour will begin on East Avenue N in Temple on Sept. 3 for the Knob Creek Trunk Sewer reconstruction Phase 1 project, the City of Temple has announced.
According to the City, South 26th Street and South 24th Street will allow local traffic only and will be changed from one-way to two-way streets during the project. Access to Family Promise will be maintained throughout the duration of the construction, said the City.
The detour is reportedly expected to last until Dec. 20.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and pay attention to all traffic control devices.
