TEMPLE, Texas — The driver involved in a wrong-way crash who died last week was identified by the Temple Police Department on Monday.
Police said 71-year-old Darrel Scott of Temple died after he reportedly drove the wrong way on Interstate 35 near exit 297 on Friday.
Scott crashed into a vehicle going north that was carrying a mother and her three sons, police said.
The family was transported to a local area hospital and have non-life threatening injuries, police added.
