SH 6 and Frederick Street intersection in Riesel to switch to a four-way stop for TxDOT operations on June 18

TxDOT said the work is scheduled to last from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

WACO, Texas — Milling and overlay operations will cause a temporary shift to a four-way red flash at an intersection in Riesel on June 18, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)-Waco District.

TxDOT stated the operations will take place on SH 6 and Frederick Street (FM 1860), and will require a "temporary switch in the traffic signal to a four-way red flash condition at the intersection".

TxDOT says drivers should expect temporary delays in the area and encourages them to watch for crews.

The work is reportedly scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The operations are a part of TxDOT's overlay project to restore SH 6 from FM 1860 to the Falls County Line, said the department.
