Motorcycle crash in Temple injures one, police say

One motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the second motorcyclist did not have any injuries.

TEMPLE, Texas — One person was taken to the hospital with injuries following a crash that involved two motorcycles in Temple on August 3, according to the Temple Police Department.

According to officers, at around 9:24 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, they were called to the 11000 block of Highway 36 for an accident involving two motorcycles. 

TPD sated the motorcycles were traveling west about to turn onto Whitehall Road when they collided. One motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the second motorcyclist did not have any injuries.

Traffic to Cedar Ridge and Moffat Road will be diverted until the accident can be cleared, TPD said.

TPD is still investigating the scene.
