BELTON, Texas — One person died after being involved in a three-vehicle crash in Belton Friday, according to the Belton Police Department.
The department said it was called out to the intersection of Lake Road and North Loop 121 around 4:30 p.m. in reference to a crash involving three vehicles.
One person had to be removed from a vehicle, police said. That person was transported to a local area hospital and later died from their injuries, police added.
The person's name was not released because police need to notify their next of kin.
No other serious injuries were reported in this crash, police said.
