KILLEEN, Texas — Beginning on Monday, July 22, a contractor with the City of Killeen will close the outside northbound lane of Old FM 440 West Stan Schlueter Loop to Perishing Drive to perform a boring in the area.
The closure will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday, July 25.
The city says there will be traffic control devices to help those on the road navigate the closure and the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to be cautious while navigating the area, obey the traffic control devices in place, and possibly consider alternate routes.
