TROY, Texas — A missing 69-year-old woman was injured in a car crash on IH-35 on Wednesday, May 22.
The missing woman was identified as Tracy Kathryn Rambosek. She was listed as a missing person out of Harris County on Tuesday, May 21.
According to Troy Police, officers were called to a stalled vehicle at the 306-mile marker with no lights on in the lane of traffic, on May 22.
When officers arrived at the scene, they reported that an 18-wheeler struck a Ford Bronco. Troy Police Officers and Troy Volunteer Firefighters started CPR on the injured person in the Ford Bronco, TPD said.
According to TPD, the driver of the 18-wheeler reported minor injuries.
Troy Police Department contacted the family of Mrs. Rambosek. Mrs. Rambosek was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries .
According to offciers, there is no information of why Mrs. Rambosek was visiting the Central Texas area or why the Ford Bronco was stopped in the lane of traffic.
The crash is still being investigated, TPD said.
