MILAM COUNTY, Texas — Following storms that rolled through the area this morning coupled with a flash flood risk in Milam County, the sheriff's office has listed out multiple roads throughout the area that have closed due to various reasons.
Among the roads closed include:
- County Road 412 due to high water
- FM 437 in Val Verde due to high water and flooding
- County Road 402 due to a washout
- The County Road 250 loop from FM 979 to CR 249 in Precinct 2
- County Road 119 in Precinct 1
- County Road 120 in Precinct 1
- County Road 116 in Precinct 1
- County Road 204 in Precinct 1
- County Road 405 in Precinct 1
- County Road 407 in Precinct 1
- County Road 409 in Precinct 1
- County Road 417 in Precinct 1
- County Road 418 in Precinct 1
- County Road 423 in Precinct 1
The multiple county roads in Precinct 1 were reported closed due to water on the road or a road washout. The sheriff's office also says County Road 125 is down to one lane of traffic at a time at the US 190 underpass.
