WACO, Texas — As the Mall-to-Mall project continues, various nightly closures on State Highway 6 will begin March 4 and end March 11, according to TxDOT.
TxDOT said crews will begin working on new Bagby Avenue U-turn bridges.
Closures will include:
March 4 to March 11
- SH 6 main lanes going west from North Old Robinson Road to the on-ramp of SH 6 going west just before Beverly Drive.
- The on-ramp to SH 6 going west before the I-35 intersection; westbound on-ramp to SH 6 before Bagby Avenue.
- The frontage road going west right after the on-ramp to SH 6 before the Beverly Drive railroad.
- Director connector from I-35 going north to SH 6 going west. (Closures active from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.)
March 7 to March 9
- SH 6 eastbound main lanes from the off-ramp to Exchange Parkway to the off-ramp just past Bagby Avenue (Legend Lake Parkway).
- Additionally, the eastbound on-ramp to SH 6 prior to Bagby Avenue will be closed. (Closures active from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
The Bagby bridge will remain open during construction and closures, according to TxDOT.
Per TxDOT, there will be less impactful closures occurring the nights of March 3 and March 4. These closures include the outside main lane of SH 6 going west from the off-ramp past Bagby Avenue to the off-ramp before Industrial Drive.
Additionally, there will be a closure of the outside main lane of SH 6 going east from the on-ramp past Imperial Drive to the off-ramp before Bagby Avenue.
