According to an announcement by the City of Temple, the short-term lane closure on Dove Meadows Boulevard that was scheduled to begin April 9 will now begin April 11.
The closure is now scheduled to end on April 16.
The City stated the closure is due to ongoing reconstruction of Old Waco Road from Tarver Drive/Jupiter Drive to Riverside Trail. The short-term closure will take place on Dove Meadows Boulevard at the intersection with Old Waco Road.
The lane closure will reportedly begin with two-way traffic directed onto eastbound Dove Meadows Blvd while construction occurs in the westbound lane. Two-way traffic will then be directed onto westbound Dove Meadows Blvd while construction takes place in the eastbound lanes, said the City.
The City of Temple said two-way traffic will be maintained on Dove Meadows Blvd throughout the closure, and Old Waco Road in the area will remain open with driveways accessible.
