City of Killeen: These roads are now repaired from ice damage, more happening next week

Repairs are expected to last through August, the city said.

The City of Killeen announced Friday that it has completed a portion of repairs of ice-damaged roads.

In a Facebook post, the city said WS Young Drive from Stan Schlueter Loop to Stagecoach Road, as well as Gateway Drive to Levy Lane, are now complete.

The next roads up for repair are on Trimmier Road from Elms Road to Stan Schlueter Loop, the city said. Crews anticipate it will be done by next week.

Starting next Tuesday, 38th Street from Rancier Avenue to Lake Road repairs will begin.

Repairs are expected to continue through August and include parts of Elms Road, 10th Street, Florence Road, Chantz Drive, Stagecoach Road and more, the city said.

The city also announced the roads will be restriped soon.
